Engine Family: All Except B and C Series
This instrument measures the fuel rate consumption of a Cummins diesel engine. The tool can be used either with a chassis or engine dynomometer. The instrument is connected to the supply tanks and the fuel pump. A return line is routed back to the fuel supply tank. Fuel is circulated through the float tank and passes through the flowmeter to measure actual pounds-per-hour of fuel consumption (fuel rate). The pressure gauge and temperature gauge are also important part of the test parameters.
