NOTE: If other compressors are used, follow the manufacturer’s service requirements.

Remove the wing nut which secures the cover to the housing.

Remove the cover and the element.

Clean the cover and the housing with a clean cloth.

Inspect the rubber gasket on the center bolt and replace, if damaged.

Install a new element in the front cover and assemble over the center bolt. Refer to Procedure 018-024 (Cummins/Fleetguard® Filter Specifications) in Section V for the appropriate filter.

Install and hand tighten the wing nut.
