ICON™ Lamp Circuit

High voltage detected at the ICON™ lamp circuit when low voltage was expected by the ECM.

The ICON™ idle control system will be disabled. Only
mandatory shutdown will be enabled.
ICON™ Lamp Circuit
SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE

Circuit Description

The ICON™ lamp circuit turns on the ICON™ lamp to indicate when the ICON™ system is active. In addition, ICON™ fault codes will be flashed on this lamp.

Component Location

The ICON™ lamp is typically located in the truck cab on the dashboard panel.

Shop Talk

This fault typically indicates a short circuit to battery voltage. This fault can not be flashed out on the ICON™ lamp. It can be read using INSITE™ or flashing the diagnostic code on the red and yellow lamps.
