GM 6.5L V8 – Overview

The air induction and exhaust systems of the 6.5L V8 turbo diesel engine include the following parts (refer to Figure 6-1):
• Outside air intake duct and air filter assembly
• Turbocharger assembly
• Air inlet duct
• Crankcase ventilation system
• Exhaust pipes and muffler
