Engine Family: See Below
The engine control is a portable, handheld electronic device, used to start and control engine speed on Cummins® electronic engine families. It replaces the throttle pedal, equipment operator interface panel, and fault code monitoring circuits. The engine control has a datalink provision to connect to an electronic service tool to monitor engine operation and fault codes. The required engine control hanesses for the appropriate engines are purchased separately. The engine control and engine control harnesses are designed to operate with both +12-VDC and 24-VDC battery systems.
