Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The ECM detects the following conditions:
• Three attempts to complete an Eaton Top 2 shift were unsuccessful.
• The “Transmission Style” is programmed to “Eaton Top 2”.
System Response:
The solenoid that is currently enabled will remain in the ON position until neutral is detected.
Then Manual operation occurs until the system powers down. Manual operation is defined as both solenoids OFF.
Possible Performance Effect:
The ECM disables the Eaton Top 2 mode.
Troubleshooting:
Perform the following diagnostic procedure: “Eaton Top 2 Transmission Circuit – Test”
Results:
• OK – STOP.
