This kit designed for the Signature 600 engine uses the holes provided in the cam gear to allow removal. The center hole allows the mounting bolt to control the gear until the technician is ready to control the disassembly. 4 cap screws are provided and should be alternately tightened to free the gear from the cam shaft.
