C15 – 0100-03 Oil Pressure voltage high (24)

Conditions Which Generate This Code:

The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:

• The signal voltage from the engine oil pressure sensor is greater than 4.95 VDC for more than eight seconds.
• The ECM has been powered for at least two seconds.
• The engine is not running or the engine coolant temperature is greater than 38 C (100.4 F).

System Response:
The ECM will log the diagnostic code and the ECM will trigger a snapshot. The check engine lamp
will illuminate once this diagnostic code has been active for more than 10 hours. The ECM will default to 600 kPa (87.0 psi) for engine oil pressure.

Possible Performance Effect:
None

Troubleshooting:
Perform the following diagnostic procedure: “Engine Pressure Sensor Open or Short Circuit – Test”

Results:
• OK – STOP.
