Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The ECM detects the following conditions:
• The 5 volt supply is greater than 5.16 VDC for more than one second.
• The ECM has been powered for at least three seconds.
System Response:
The ECM sets all of the pressure sensors to the default values below:
• Atmospheric Pressure 100 kPa (15.0 psi)
• Boost pressure 0 kPa (0.0 psi)
• Engine Oil Pressure 600 kPa (87.0 psi)
The ECM will use a default torque map. “DIAG” will be displayed next to the status for all of the pressure sensors on the electronic service tool.
Possible Performance Effect:
The engine will experience low power when this diagnostic code is active.
Troubleshooting:
Perform the following diagnostic procedure: “5 Volt Engine Pressure Sensor Supply Circuit – Test”
Results:
• OK – STOP.
