This kit is an analytical tool that tests for combustion gasses in the engine cooling system. Combustion produces carbon dioxide, which, when dissolved in water, produces an acidic condition due to the formation of carbon acid. This acid will change the indicator fluid (which is part of this kit) from blue to yellow. 3822986 Combustion Leak Test Fluid is the replacement test fluid for the 3822985 Leak Test Kit. The test fluid is non-hazardous non-toxic and no MSDS is required. Shelf life of the test fluid is indefinite.

NOTE: May be used in conjunction with 3822994 Coolant Analyzer.
