Engine Family: K19/QSK19
This installer is required to install or remove the thick wall wear sleeve on the rear of the crankshaft for K19 series engines. The kit contains a special chisel type wedge to remove the thick wall wear sleeve. The tool has a cam lobe that wedges between the rear cover and the wear sleeve. By rotating the wedge chisel, the chisel edge deforms (notches) the wear sleeve to relieve the press fit. The wear sleeve can then be removed. This tool is also used to install the wear sleeve by using the 3 spacers and flywheel bolts to “push” the sleeve and seal into position.
