The kits are used to set the injection timing on engines equipped with the Bosch VE or similar distributor type fuel pumps.

NOTE: Part Number 4918193 is used on engines equipped with the Bosch VE type fuel pumps where access space to the fuel pump is limited.

NOTE: Part Numbers 3165104 and 3165105 are used on fuel pumps equipped with the cold start timing aid (KKSB). These fuel pumps have an M10 threaded access port and are found on the B3.9, B4.5 RGT, B5.9, B4.52, and B6.7s engines. The timing adapter kit is used with fuel pump timing kit, part number 4918193. The fuel pump timing kit must be sold separately.

NOTE: Part Number 4918168 is used on engines where access space to the fuel pump is limited and is required for the A1400 and A1700 engines. The kit includes a shorter Timing adapter and indicator point to be used with dial indicator, 4918169. The dial indicator must be purchased separately.
