Remove the fan drive belt.

Inspect the fan hub for the following:

  • Freedom of rotation
  • Cracks
  • Grease seal leakage.

Measure the fan hub end clearance.

Replace or rebuild the fan hub if the clearance does not meet this specification. Contact a Cummins® Authorized Repair Location.
