Cause Correction

STC oil control valve barrel o-rings are missing, hardened or cut; retaining ring is missing; barrel and plunger class fit is excessive

Remove the STC valve and inspect the barrel o-rings, check for a retaining ring, and inspect for excessive wear. Refer to Procedure 006-037.
 

STC oil control valve plumbing is not correct

Check the STC valve plumbing. Refer to Procedure 006-037.
