Symptom Tree  

Lubricating oil pressure is below specification

Check the oil pressure. If the pressure is low, refer to the Lubricating Oil Pressure Low symptom tree.

 

Lubricating oil is thin or diluted

Refer to Procedure 018-003 (Lubricating Oil Recommendations and Specifications) in Section V.

 

Fan drive belt is loose, tight, or not in alignment

Check the fan drive belt. Refer to Section Procedure 018-005 (Drive Belt Tension) in Section V.

 

Vibration damper is damaged

Check the vibration damper. Refer to Section Procedure 001-052 (Vibration Damper, Viscous) in Section 6.
