Centinel System – Repair Manual – 008-014   Coolant Thermostat Housing

Remove

 TOC

Single Thermostat


Remove the four thermostat housing cover capscrews.

Remove the thermostat cover and gasket.

Discard the gasket.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE


Remove the thermostat from the thermostat housing cover.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   


Remove the three thermostat housing capscrews.

Remove the thermostat housing and gasket.

Discard the gasket.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   

Dual Thermostat


Remove the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing cover.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   


Disconnect vent line, if required.

Disconnect the coolant sensor connector.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   


Remove the four capscrews that attach the thermostat housing cover to the thermostat housing.

Remove the thermostat housing cover and gasket from the thermostat housing.

Discard the gasket.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   


Remove the thermostats from the thermostat housing cover.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   


Remove the two capscrews that attach the thermostat housing to the cylinder head.

Remove the thermostat housing and gasket from the cylinder head.

Discard the gasket.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
