Engine Brake Relay Supply Circuit

Circuit Description
The electronic control module (ECM) enables the engine brake by sending a signal directly to the engine brakes. The ECM will
only enable the engine brakes under certain operating conditions.
Component Location
The engine brakes are located under the valve cover. The 8-pin engine brake connector is located on the intake side of the head above the inlet air horn. The engine brake solenoid for cylinder number 1 is the forward-most of the three engine brake solenoids.

Possible causes for this fault code include:
- ECM engine brake circuit 1 shorted to ground
- This fault code is
not used when a three-level engine braking harness (ICON™) is installed.
