Engine will run derated.

Circuit Description

The front rail pressure sensor provides the rail pressure signal to the electronic control module (ECM).

Component Location

The front rail pressure sensor is located on the front of the fuel delivery housing.

Shop Talk

This fault could be caused by the return or signal wire that has a short circuit to (+) 5 VDC or (+) 12 VDC, an open circuit in the return wire, or a failed sensor.

Refer to Troubleshooting Fault Code t05-451.
