Circuit Description
The rear rail pressure sensor provides the rail pressure signal to the electronic control module (ECM).
Component Location
The rear rail pressure sensor is located on the fuel delivery housing below the gear pump.
Shop Talk
This fault could be caused by the signal wire shorted to ground, the supply wire shorted to ground, an open circuit in the supply wire, an open circuit in the signal wire, a failed sensor, or a faulty ECM power supply.
