Electronic Control System ISM and QSM11 Engines – Maintenance Lamp Stays On or Flashes

This is symptom tree t108-1
Cause Correction

Maintenance fault code active

Read the fault codes using an electronic service tool. Refer to Section TF for fault code troubleshooting.

 

Real-time clock not set due to battery voltage loss to the ECM

Set the real-time clock using RoadRelay™ or INSITE™.
 

Maintenance monitor interval exceeded

Refer to the Maintenance and Operations Features section for an explanation of the maintenance monitor feature operation.
 

Maintenance lamp circuit malfunction

Check the maintenance lamp circuit. Refer to the OEM service manual.
