Remove

 TOC

Remove the four capscrews and the housing.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE

Clean and Inspect for Reuse

 TOC

Clean the housing gasket surface.

Clean the cylinder block gasket surface.

Inspect the dipstick guide tube.

If the guide tube is cracked, missing, or not angled downward into the oil pan, replace the dipstick tube housing.

Install

 TOC

Install a new gasket and the dipstick tube housing.

Install the four capscrews.

Torque Value:  47  n.m  [35 ft-lb]

Check the dipstick calibration. Refer to Procedure 007-009 in Section 7.
