Sensor Supply Circuit
CODE | REASON | EFFECT |
Fault Code: 352 PID: S232 SPN: 1079 FMI: 4 LAMP: Yellow SRT: |
Low voltage detected on the electronic control module (ECM) supply line to intake manifold pressure/temperature, OEM pressure, and coolant level sensors, as well as the remote accelerator. |
Default values used for sensors connected to this +5-VDC supply and possible default to idle speed. Low power can occur because fueling is derated to no-boost fueling. Also, possible loss of engine protection for the sensors. |

Circuit Description
The ECM supplies each of these sensors with postive +5 VDC. If the supply line to any sensor is damaged, the sensor will not work correctly.
Component Location
The +5-VDC sensor supply circuit is located in both the engine harness and OEM harness.
Shop Talk
Low voltage on the sensor +5-VDC supply line can be caused by a short circuit to ground in a supply line, a short circuit between supply line and return line, a failed sensor, or a failed ECM power supply.
