Overview
| CODE | REASON | EFFECT |
| Fault Code: 433 PID: P102 SPN: 102 FMI: 2 LAMP: Yellow SRT: 00-093 |
Intake manifold pressure signal indicates intake manifold pressure is high when other engine parameters indicate intake manifold pressure is low. |
Engine can derate to no-boost fueling. |

Circuit Description
The intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor monitors intake manifold pressure and passes information to the electronic control module (ECM) through the engine harness. If intake manifold pressure becomes too high, it will cause a derate condition.
Component Location
The intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor is located on the air intake manifold.
Shop Talk
- The ECM checks for this fault only at idle speed. If the intake manifold pressure shows too high of a value at this time, the ECM will log a fault code.
- Run an automated cylinder performance test and/or single-cylinder cutout test to detect an injector problem causing the fault. Look for alternate fuel sources, such as oil-filled charge air coolers or blown seals in the turbocharger causing this fault.
