 Electronic Fuel Control Actuator Circuit

Circuit Description
This fault indicates that the rail pressure sensor has detected a pressure higher than the system pressure. Current is provided to the electronic fuel control actuator, which allows fuel to be pressurized by the high-pressure pump. The high-pressure fuel is accumulated in the fuel rail. The fuel rail pressure sensor measures the fuel pressure and sends a signal to the electronic control module (ECM).
Component Location
The fuel system is located on the intake side of the engine.

Fuel leaks can cause this fault. After troubleshooting this fault code, check for fuel leaks.
