Electronic Control System Gas Plus Engines – 019-097   Throttle Actuator

Lift up on the connector tabs and disconnect the harness connector from the throttle actuator.

Remove the charge air cooler supply hose.

Remove the fuel jumper hose from the fuel control housing.

NOTE: The fuel must be turned off and drained from the fuel filter prior to removing the fuel hose.

Disconnect the wastegate control line.

Disconnect the fuel shutoff connector.

Disconnect the fuel control valve connector.

Disconnect the wastegate control valve connector.

Disconnect the gas mass flow sensor connector.

Remove the four 10-mm capscrews and mixer from the throttle actuator.

Remove the four 10-mm capscrews from the intake manifold side of the actuator.

Install a new throttle actuator in place.

Install four 10-mm capscrews into the intake manifold side of the actuator.

Install the mixer in place.

Install the four long 10-mm capscrews and hand-tighten.

Install the fuel jumper hose and reconnect it to the fuel control housing.

Inspect the charge air cooler hose for damage.

Install the charge air cooler hose.

Connect the gas mass flow sensor connector.

Install the wastegate control air line and fuel shutoff connector.

Connect the fuel control valve connector.

Connect the wastegate control valve connector.

Connect engine harness to throttle actuator connector.
