NOTE: There are two knock sensors located on the engine. Refer to Procedure 100-002 for the specific location on each engine.
Disconnect the harness from the sensor.
Remove the sensor from the engine.

Install

NOTE: The sensor should not be installed using any washers. A thread compound can be used to secure the studs.
Install the sensor to the correct position on the engine block or head.
Torque Value: 20 n.m [177 in-lb]
Connect the harness to the sensor. An audible click should be heard when the connection is made.
