Initial Check

Connect INSITE™ electronic service tool and verify the exhaust pressure sensor reading with INSITE™ electronic service tool is the same as the gauge.

Remove

 TOC

Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

Remove the sensor.

Inspect for Reuse

 TOC

Inspect the sensor adapter for cracks or fretting.

Replace the adapter, if damage is found.

Refer to Procedure 011-033 (Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor Adapter) in the ISM, ISMe and QSM11 Service Manual, Bulletin
3666322, or the Signature®, ISX and QSX15 Service Manual, Bulletin
3666239.

Install

 TOC

NOTE: Make sure the sealing washer is captured on the threaded portion of the sensor.

Install the sensor and tighten.

Torque Value:  14  n.m  [124 in-lb]

Connect the wiring harness to the sensor.

Operate the engine and verify proper operation (no fault codes).
