Disconnect the intake air piping from the charge-air cooler to the inlet air connector.

Remove the Compuchek® sensors.
Remove the intake manifold temperature and pressure sensors.

Remove the four capscrews that attach the intake air connector to the intake manifold.
Remove the nine capscrews and remove the intake manifold.

Inspect for Reuse

Inspect the intake manifold for cracks, fretting, or other damage.
Clean and inspect the mating surfaces on the cylinder head for cracks and fretting.
Replace the manifold if cracks or other damage are found.

Install
TOC
Use new gasket(s) and install the intake manifold onto the cylinder head mounting surfaces.
Install and tighten the nine capscrews.
Torque Value: 47 n.m [35 ft-lb]

Install the intake air connector and tighten the four capscrews.
Install the intake air piping from the charge-air cooler to the air inlet connection on the intake manifold and tighten the clamp.
