Important: Always replace existing O-ring when installing the oil level indicator tub e .
1. Apply a small a mount of clean engine oil on the end of the oil level indicator tube.
2. Install the O-ring on the oil level indicator tub e into the oil pan.
3. Install the oil level indicator tube to the engine.
4. Install the oil level indicator tube retaining clip.
5. Install the left tire and rim on the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Single Front or Rear Wheels) in Suspension .
6. Install the wheel house panel in the vehicle. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Left) in Body Front End.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Caution and Notices.
7. Install the mounting bolt to the retaining bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 4 N-m (35 Ib in).
8. Install the oil level indicator in the oil level indicator tube.
