Take the following measurements to determine the wear on the cylinder liners.
Measuring instructions:
1. Check the condition of the combustion area of the cylinder liner with the specified values.
If the carbon deposit (B) on the top of the liner is interrupted (A), then also check the condition of the piston.
2. Check for bore polish areas (C) and compare these with the specified values.
3. Measure the inside diameter and compare the measurements with the specified values.
4. Measure the ovality and calculate the relative ovality according to the specified values.
5. Replace the cylinder liner if one of the previous measurements was not within the specified values.
