1. Clean the oil filling pipe (4) and surrounding area.
Use a clean environment and clean tools to prevent dirt from entering the crankcase over the oil fill opening.
Failure to do so can damage the engine.
2. Remove the oil filling pipe attachment bolts (1
and 2).
Some truck models use thread hole (3) to mount the power steering line.
3. Remove the oil filling pipe (4) from the engine block.
If oil drips, clean it with a rag.
4. Remove the gasket.
