Engine Power Output Low — Performance Measurement

Fuel rate is low, fuel pressure is okay, and intake manifold pressure is low

Excessive intake air restriction, exhaust leaks, turbocharger wastegate malfunctioning, turbocharger wheel clearance, or charge air cooler restriction or leak. Compare the calibration stored in the ECM with the engine rating and CPL. Refer to Procedures 010-024, 010-027, 010-031, 010-047, and 011-009 in the Troubleshooting and Repair Manual N14 Series Engines

Fuel rate is low, fuel pressure is okay, intake manifold pressure is high, and ambient air temperature is below 0°C [32° F]

No corrections are required. This is normal performance at temperatures below 0°C [32° F].

Adjust fuel pressure and/or rate.
