Overview
CODE | REASON | EFFECT |
Fault Code: 352 PID: S232 SPN: 620 FMI: 4 LAMP: Yellow SRT: 00-607 |
No outgoing voltage detected at ECM switch supply pin 10 of the OEM harness or low voltage detected at the ECM sensor supply pins 2, 3, 5, 12, 21, and 22 of the sensor harness. |
Engine derates to no air fueling and simultaneous logging of Fault Codes 123, 141, 145, 154, 213, 222, and 422 or cruise control/PTO engine brakes will not work, Fault Code 431 is logged, and ECM loses the signal from all cab switches. |

|
Circuit Description
All of the sensors are powered by the same +5 VDC source in the ECM. The idle validation ON/OFF switch and all cab switches are powered by the
+5 VDC switch common supply.
Component Location
The +5 VDC switch supply circuit is located in the sensor harness. The
+5 VDC switch common circuit is located in the OEM harness. Refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s manual for the specific location.
Shop Talk
If it is determined that the problem lies in the sensor +5 VDC supply, start unplugging the pressure sensors one at a time. When the fault goes
inactive, investigate that particular circuit or sensor for a problem.
If Fault Code 352 is present without multiple sensor fault codes, then the ECM has failed.
Cautions and Warnings
CAUTION
To reduce the possibility of damaging the new ECM, all other active fault codes must be investigated prior to replacing the ECM. |
