Check the oil pressure. If the pressure is low, refer to the Lubricating Oil Pressure Low symptom tree. |

Lubricating oil is thin or diluted |
Refer to Procedure 018-003 (Lubricating Oil Recommendations and Specifications) in Section V. Refer to the Lubricating Oil Contaminated symptom tree. |

Coolant temperature is above specification |
Refer to the Coolant Temperature Is Above Normal – Sudden Overheat or the Coolant Temperature Is Above Normal – Gradual Overheat symptom tree. |

|
Fan drive belt is loose, tight, or not in alignment |
Check the fan drive belt. Refer to Section Procedure 103-002 (Drive Belts) in Section 3. |

Vibration damper is damaged |
Inspect the vibration damper. Refer to Procedure 001-052 (Vibration Damper, Viscous) in Section 7. |

|
Engine mounts are worn, damaged, or not correct |
Check the engine mounts. Refer to the OEM service manual. |
