M11 Series – Service Manual – 016-001   Engine Lifting Brackets

Remove

 TOC

Remove the capscrews and the front lifting bracket.

Remove the capscrews and the rear lifting bracket.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE

Clean

 TOC

 WARNING 

When using a steam cleaner, wear protective clothing, as well as safety glasses or a face shield. Hot steam can cause serious personal injury.

Use steam or solvent to clean the lifting brackets. Dry with compressed
air.

Inspect for Reuse

 CAUTION 

Do not use a cracked or damaged bracket. Do not weld a cracked bracket. Personal injury can result.

Inspect the brackets for cracks or damage.

Replace the bracket if it is cracked.

Install

 TOC

Install the front bracket and capscrews.

Torque Value:  47  n.m  [35 ft-lb]

Install the rear bracket and capscrews.

Torque Value:  81  n.m  [60 ft-lb]
