ISBe/ISB Series Engines – 008-087   Cooling Fan Belt Tensioner

Preparatory Steps

 TOC

  • Remove cooling fan drive belt. Refer to Procedure
    008-002.
  
SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE

Remove

 TOC

Remove the belt tensioner mounting capscrew and belt tensioner.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   

Inspect for Reuse

 TOC

Inspect the tensioner bushing between the arm and the spring case.

SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE
   

Install

 TOC

Install the belt tensioner.

Install and tighten the belt tensioner capscrew.

Torque Value:  43  n.m  [32 ft-lb]

Finishing Steps

 TOC

  • Install cooling fan drive belt. Refer to Procedure
    008-002.
