Circuit Description
The commanded position signal from the ECM to the fuel control valve is a +12-VDC pulse-width modulated signal. A short to battery voltage in the harness or at the fuel control valve connector will cause Fault Code 455 to be set.
Component Location
100-002 for the component location.
Shop Talk
The pulse-width modulated signal that is sent to the fuel control valve from the ECM should always read an alternating +12 VDC and 0 VDC.
