 CAUTION 

Record all programmable parameters, features, and calibration information from the old ECM before disconnecting the harness connectors. This information will be needed to program the new ECM.

Disconnect the OEM, sensor, and actuator harness connectors from the ECM if they are not already removed. Use the following procedure in the CELECT™ Electronic Control System Troubleshooting and Repair Manual, Bulletin 3666084. Refer to Procedure 019-043 in Section 19.

A = Sensor

B = OEM

C = Actuator.

Remove the six metric capscrews that hold the ECM to the cooling plate. Pull the ECM off of the cooling plate.

Do not remove the dataplate from the old ECM.
