Cause Correction

Electronic fault codes active or high counts of inactive fault codes

Refer to Section TF in the Troubleshooting and Repair Manual for CELECT™ Plus Systems, 3666130, or Section T in the Troubleshooting and Repair Manual for CELECT™ Systems, Bulletin 3666084.

 

Lubricating oil pressure switch, gauge, or sensor is malfunctioning or is not in the correct location

Check the oil pressure switch, gauge, or sensor for correct operation and location. Refer toProcedure 007-028.

 

Coolant temperature is below specification

Refer to the Coolant Temperature Below Normal symptom tree.

 

Lubricating oil does not meet specifications for operating conditions

Change the oil and filters. Refer to Procedure 007-013. Use the oil type recommended in Section V of the operation and maintenance manual.

 

Main oil pressure regulator is malfunctioning

Check the main oil pressure regulator assembly. Refer to Procedure 007-029.

 

Lubricating oil viscosity not correct

Make sure the correct lubricating oil is being used. Refer to Procedure 007-041.

 

Lubricating oil high?pressure relief valve is malfunctioning

Remove and inspect the high?pressure relief valve or lubricating pump pressure regulator. Refer to Procedure 007-021.

 

Lubricating oil filter bypass valve is malfunctioning

Check the bypass valve. Refer to Procedure 007-014.
