Low voltage detected at the OEM temperature sensor signal pin.

Default value used for the OEM temperature.

Circuit Description

The OEM temperature sensor is used by the electronic control module (ECM) to monitor the temperature of the OEM-specified component. If the OEM temperature becomes too high and the engine protection is enabled, a derate condition can be incurred, possibly leading to shutdown.

Component Location

The sensor location is dependent on the OEM’s application and installation. Use the OEM troubleshooting and repair manual.
