Battery voltage is low, interrupted, or open |
Check the batteries connections, unswitched battery supply circuit, and fuses. Refer to Procedure 013-009. |

Fuel shutoff is malfunctioning |
Check for loose wires and verify that the fuel shutoff valve is functioning. Refer to Procedure 005-044. |

Engine cranking speed is too slow |
Check the engine cranking speed with a handheld tachometer or electronic service tool. Check the fuel lines, fuel connections, and fuel filters for leaks using the combustible gas detector service tool. Refer to Procedures 005-003. |

Inspect the air intake system for restriction. Replace the air filter.
