Inspect the Centinel™ System for external oil leaks. Tighten any loose fittings if necessary. Refer to Procedure 007-088. |

Failed oil seal (dual-piston only) |
Inspect for oil coming out of vent. Refer to Procedure 007-078. |

Oil and fuel consumption parameters are not correct (not applicable to integrated system) |
Verify that the calibration plug is correct. Verify that the Centinel™ control module calibration values are correct. Refer to Procedure 019-131 and Procedure 209-001. |

Electronic fault codes active or high counts of inactive fault codes |
Read the fault codes with an electronic service tool. Refer to Section TF for fault code troubleshooting. |

Lubricating oil control valve leaking (internal) |
Inspect the oil control valve for internal oil leak. Refer to Procedure 007-078. |

High number of key offs (in excess of eight key offs per 100 miles). |
